How to Apply

The Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship is open to Simmons MBA applicants, Simmons MBA students, AACSB International MBA graduates and Simmons MBA alumnae. For more information on the application process, contact entrepreneurship@simmons.edu

Simmons MBA Applicants

Applicants to the Simmons MBA program may apply to reserve their seat for the program cycle that immediately follows their Simmons MBA graduation by submitting an application following their MBA acceptance. Final admission to the Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship is dependent on satisfactory completion (a grade of B or better) in each of the first two entrepreneurship courses available as MBA electives in the Spring and Summer semesters.

Current Simmons MBA Students

Simmons MBA students may apply to reserve their seat in the Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship courses immediately following their Simmons MBA graduation by submitting an application by December 15th. Final admission to the program is dependent on satisfactory completion (a grade of B or better) in each of the first two entrepreneurship courses available as MBA electives in the Spring and Summer semesters.

AACSB International MBA Graduates

Non-Simmons MBA graduates from AACSB International accredited MBA programs are welcome to apply for the four course sequence Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship running January – November annually. The application deadline for non-Simmons MBA graduates is December 15th.

Simmons MBA Alumnae

Simmons alumnae are encouraged to return to the classroom for MBA entrepreneurship elective courses and for the Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship. Alumnae returning for MBA electives (courses 1 and 2) are billed at 50% regular tuition rates and should contact the MBA office for registration details.  The 50% tuition rebate for alumnae is available for the two MBA entrepreneurship elective courses only, and not for the two fall Certificate program courses. Alumnae interested in applying for the full four course sequence should apply through the School of Management MBA Office.
