SOM Alumna Appointed Director of Foundation Services at Federal Street Advisors
SOM alumna Jennifer Christian Murtie was recently appointed to the newly created position of Director of Foundation Services at Federal Street Advisors.
Christian Murtie has worked for Federal Street Advisors for four years and in her new capacity will provide investment advice and service to foundation and non-profit clients. In this new role, she will partner with clients on specific projects and initiatives that allow them to connect investment strategies with ongoing program initiatives.
Christian Murtie completed her MBA at the SOM in 2007. As part of her MBA program, she took a company-supported six-week sabbatical to implement an innovative program to provide safe drinking water to rural communities in remote areas of Ghana in collaboration with an MIT lecturer. She was also the 2007 Silverman Business Plan Competition winner, impressing the judges with a detailed eco tourism business plan.
